I have been thinking a lot about dandelion clocks lately. I used them in a project a few years ago and I have noticed they are all over the place again. I was thinking about using the below visual for some personal work but realised it could be an effective image for the shop window display.
The idea would be to create a pop up display of pompom and wire dandelion clocks with lots of the seed pods flying off them. The seed pods will all be flying towards a sign/ point representing the LICC. There will be a message asking people to bring any pompoms or knitted items that they find to the library to add to the display.
The display will include a tree to cover with pompoms and knitted flowers. And planters (see below) to add pompom flowers to. There will also be a map with pins and string to pin point where the knitted item was found and record the person who found it (perhaps that person could get their found item back at the end of the project- GIFT?).
